the shades of saturday

The weekend can mean a variety of things for each person-- It can mean relaxation, work, day trips, reading, exercise, homework, cleaning, errand running, grocery shopping, or laying in bed watching television series. After wearing three different outfits yesterday, Ive come to realize that there are many different shades of Saturday. Different activities throughout the day and night call for different kinds of looks:

+++++

Started off the day running errands with inbetween sips of coffee. It warmed up enough to not have to wear a jacket going in and out of the car & stores. I threw on a navy blue oversized sweatshirt & a chunky scarf to keep warm.

// sweatshirt: unfinished DIY [coming soon] // velvet pants: Gap, 22$ // floral bra: free people, 16$ //
// scarf: uo, 10$ // boots: Aldo, 180$ //

Later on in the day I was meant to go into work for a closing shift. Had thrifted the long black southwestern style maxi skirt & was dying to put it to good use. I figured what could be better paired with a southwestern skirt than a graphic tee saying 'Austin.'

// maxi skirt: thrifted, 2$ // graphic tee: fossil, 5$ // cardigan: target, 17$ //

Saturday night rolls around and I felt the maxi skirt should retire. I normally dont like wearing super tight clothing but this bodycon style dress is too comfy. I loved the long sleeves cos I was able to throw on a denim vest over the dress, making it more casual.

// dress: h&m, 15$ // denim vest: thrifted, 5$ // tights: gifted, nyc //

The constant accesorries throughout all of saturday?  The layered necklaces, many rings & aztec socks, keeping my looks cozy & funky.

// triangle necklace: vintage market, london, 14£ // brown stone necklace, Icing, 2$ //
// socks: free people, 8$ //

Hope everyone enjoyed their Saturday!
