Ever since my best friend Maria began driving me around in high school, i was making mix cd upon mix cd. The car i had in college was too old for an ipod, (& mine broke) but not old enough to have a cassette slot, so i made due with a monthly mix cd. I always title the cd just by the month and year I made it, never truly remembering what songs i had on them. It could be July 2011, and Id pick up October 2009 and say "this sounds good today." A lot of the times, the songs would coincide with my mood, but often classic favourites or newer favourites would get slipped in.

I was beginning to make my January 2014 playlist, when I realized I had also make a January 2012, as well as January 2013. I always find it so interesting what songs i choose to go one after the other. Here are the lists from each cd:
