DIY floral crowns >>

 +++

 What better way to celebrate the beginnings of warm weather than with diy-ing floral crowns :) I've worn these in the past but always ached to make my own creation.  This project was surprisingly suuuuper easy & very pretty, duh. Sure to be the first of many more floral crown experiments in the future !

>> Supplies :

+ faux flowers -- Mar & I bought a branch with small white flowers & one with purple - {2.99 each}
+ floral wire (green) -  {99cents!}
+ covered wire (brown) - 4$ {2$ w/ our coupon}
+ wire cutting pliers - { pack of 3, w/ coupon - 5$}

----------
>> Directions -- >>

I. size covered wire to head by wrapping around comfortably with enough space to tie together -- the wire is fairly strong on its own, so we wrapped the ends around the base of the crown and secured by wrapping a bit of floral wire around the end bits
II. cut off the small flowers from the bigger branch, leaving a little bit of stem on each
III. cut off a small portion of the floral wire (green) -- about an inch or two
IV. arrange flower whichever angle [we alternated] and slowly wrap floral wire around the stem of the flower as well as the base of the crown
V. repeat repeat & enjoy!

  1. Also, be warned! The floral wire can get sharp - Sarah and I got pricked a few times!
